A 20m woodland rue, from Halnaker to Lavant, was planted by our forestry teams & volunteers, featuring native species like oak, beech, & hornbeam


4 doors in the lodge were rescued from salvage and expertly split to ensure they meet modern fire standards before being fitted.

Upgrade your race license with the Advanced ARDS.
Goodwood Racing School is a member of the Association of Racing Drivers Schools. After passing your Novice Driver Training Course (ARDS Test) and receiving your Inter Club Race Licence, you will be eligible to complete the Advanced ARDS course helping you get one step closer to your National Race License.
The day will be bespoke to each driver.

Drivers must hold a full driving licence and of have a current Inter Club Race License which will need to be presented on the day with your upgrade card - photocopies will not be accepted. Participants must be a confident track driver and have a good knowledge of the rules of driving on a track. Drivers must be 17 or over to take the course and must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes. Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call 01243 755055 if in any doubt.
Once booked, one of the Goodwood Chief Instructors will schedule a phone call with the driver to discuss the course details and allow them to tailor the day to the drivers goals.
Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate and can bring a camera to record the experience. Viewing is available for spectators. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. The Old Control Tower at the Motor Circuit sells coffees, soft drinks and hot and cold snacks. Viewing is available for spectators from this venue. You can also purchase additional lunches for one guest, this can be done when purchasing your track day or by calling 01243 755055.
Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top, if possible, please bring any race wear and personal protective equipment including driving gloves. Wear flat-soled shoes - flip flops are not permitted. A helmet is provided.
Goodwood vehicles are covered by comprehensive accident insurance but this will not apply if you drive recklessly, dangerously or if you cause damage to yourself or anyone else. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. Goodwood car insurance does not cover drivers who choose to use their own vehicle.


The day course and the instructors at Goodwood were excellent. Plenty of track time and tips on how to improve too. I feel ready to explore the world of Motorsport.
