Video: Onboard a bucking Cobra in the RAC TT Celebration
The RAC TT Celebration at the 2021 Goodwood Revival was as dramatic as ever, with monster ‘60s GTs going door-to-door and nose-to-tail around the Motor Circuit. While what we get to see from our trackside cameras is spectacular, sometimes it’s fun to get really in the mix.
Happily, we can do that too, with a snorting V8 onboard ride with Philip Kadoorie’s bare-metal Cobra, a veteran of racing at Goodwood. It’s a chaotic start to the clip, as an E-type spins sideways and backwards just a whisker in front. Then we’re fishtailing this way and that, as if there’s oil under the tyres. There probably wasn’t because you realise, the Cobra is getting sideways everywhere. A thrilling chase ensues before we go into a safety car. How rowdy does this Cobra look!?
