The Gerry Marshall Sprint turns the Trophy on its head, by reversing the grid of race finishers. That means those that got on the podium for the Trophy are put to the back for the Sprint, for an incredible climb challenge for any driver. It also gives the slower cars that chance to win out with defensive driving.
That said, it's hard to defend against a rampaging Ford Mustang Boss 302 in a wieldy little Fiesta at SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard. The GM was an essential inclusion in our unique event, for the sheer coolness of a grid with everything from hatchbacks to fire-spitting muscle cars.
So watch on as the biggest, baddest and fastest have to fight their way all the way up from the back for a chance at a second dose of Gerry Marshall Goodwood glory.
